Japanese venue transformation: KASA JAPO at the Splau Shopping Mall

The KASA family keeps growing, this time at the Splau shopping mall in partnership with CUBIC GENERAL CONTRACTOR. The works comprised the complete refurbishment of a 130 m² commercial unit, creating a functional space defined by its open kitchen and décor that blends traditional and modern elements.

Design and layout

The restaurant features an open kitchen that lets diners watch dishes being prepared, adding transparency and freshness to the culinary experience. The design combines a modern image with traditional Japanese details, creating a welcoming, visually appealing atmosphere.

Décor

The décor includes distinctive elements such as murals of Japanese dragons on the walls, carefully chosen lighting and extensive use of natural materials such as wood and bamboo. These features are complemented by modern details that bring a contemporary touch to the space.

Outdoor terrace

The venue also features a generous outdoor terrace, ideal for guests to enjoy their meals al fresco while soaking in the urban atmosphere of the shopping mall. The terrace is fitted with comfortable tables and chairs, perfect for relaxing and socialising.

With this refurbishment, we have delivered a space that is not only functional and appealing but also offers a unique experience to diners, reflecting the essence of Japanese cuisine in a contemporary setting.
